Pumpkin Carving Party

Saturday night, Carrie and David had us all over for a pumpkin carving party at their new house in Benton. We had so much fun...the food was delicious and I can't remember the last time I laughed so much! We have NO idea how it happened, but somehow Brandon and I won with our little ghost face pumpkin. We REALLY didn't deserve it, but we appreciate it all the same. And I still think Terri & Bracy went above and beyond by bringing all the props to make their crazy faced creature pumpkin. Thanks to the Donnells for a wonderful time and a great prize! Mary Carole & Whitney were partners for the evening and they entertained me so much with their pumpkin carving skills & techniques that I had to get a picture of the sweet couple!

Race for the Cure

This year my mom celebrates 17 years as a survivor of breast cancer. Every year we get a team together through ACE Glass and do the walk together in honor of my mom and many other women we know who are affected by the disease. Ethan joined the team this year, and I know it's hard to read, but his sweatshirt said "strollin for mimi". We had a great time and of course, Ethan slept through the whole race.

Over the last week..

What Ethan can do at 2 months old:
1. Hold his head up for longer periods.
2. Sit up
3. Fill out his 6 month clothing! (he'll be in 12 month by Christmas!)
4. He likes to talk now and tell us ALL about it.
5. Sleep for 6 1/2 hours at a stretch at night.
6. Weigh 16 lbs 7 oz, and measure 24 1/2" long. (such a hoss)
7. Be the sweetest, cuddliest little lovey baby. He's SUCH a blessing!



Ethan is starting to hold his head up easier, and can sit in his exercauser and bumbo seat without screaming. Now he likes to be in them just looking around.

Ethan decided his favorite nap spot is laying on his belly on the quilt his great aunt Kay made for him.


Ethan got to meet his great Aunt Leah & great uncle Steve for the first time!



Ethan got to hang out with his cousin Reagan. Aunt Erika & Reagan helped babysit him while the guys went to the Auburn game.

2 Month Photo Shoot

I need a cute 2 month picture for a project I'm working on...so Brandon and I attempted to get some photos before his next bottle. At first, Ethan was in no mood....then a little teaser snack bought us some time....then he was super happy...then he melted back down when daddy wanted to play instead of feeding him.

2 Months Old Today

He is growing so fast, I'm having trouble finding the right clothes to fit him. These overalls swallowed him 2 weeks ago, but today they looked like shorts on him. We're still die hard razorback fans in this house, even if this season is making it a little harder on us. Also, we thought we would start taking pictures in his chair so we can compare his growth month to month.


Hard to believe Ethan is already 2 months old! He is finally learning to like baths, or at least not hate them so much. I have been looking forward to him loving them like other babies...but for now I will settle for him loving to cuddle up in his towel!

Playtime

Ethan is starting to really use his arms and legs feverishly, so we thought we could try the playmat again. This time he was loving swatting at the hanging toys and kicking them.

11. Who does the laundry? Brandon does the washing b/c he keeps it going CONSTANTLY, and I am the folder and sorter
